Mr. Cincinnati* Joe Wessels will be playing host to July’s supper, deep in the heart of Over-the-Rhine. (Bring your cameras, photogs: Joe’s got great views of Music Hall and Washington Park from his place.) I’ve also heard a rumor that he’s got a talented guest chef flying in from San Francisco for the occasion…a rumor which, yes, may have been started by me, but does have the virtue of being true.
Date: Thursday, July 12
Time: 6pm for drinks, dinner at 7pm
If you want to come, please say so in the comments to this post (slots are allocated on a first come, first served basis). The week of the supper, I will email you with Joe’s address and other details. Hope to see you there!
*Title bestowed upon Joe by, er, me. He’s from this town and loves this town, so he wins the crown. Or something.

Well, you know I’m going to be there.

I’m sharpening the ginsu knives in preparation. . .

Joe:
Count me and Mary Gruber both in for one more go-around. We’re both looking forward to seeing you and your place. Will there be a juggling demonstration with the ginsu knives?

I’m not the chef. I think The Chef wrote it.

Michelle and I would love to attend. We were so sad we could not make the last supper.

Seven slots gone, and it’s so nice to have so many repeat diners! Says a lot about everyone who comes to these things, doesn’t it?

Erin Marie and I would like to attend.

Yikes, I didn’t realize there was a bidding war for attendance. If any “slots” open, Doug and I would love to join.
June 26, 2007 at 5:46 pm
No bidding war, just a limited number that any given host is able to accommodate. And with Donna and Doug added to the list, we’re now full!
The waiting list begins here. If anyone is unable to attend, we go to the waiting list. (Which is why it’s important that people do not RSVP unless they fully expect to attend. Emergencies happen, of course, but it’s important not to jerk around our hosts.)
